As sun is a rarity around these parts, Grace and I decided to take advantage of the situation and head downtown with very little money and my camera. The only thing I bought that day was The Doors' LA Woman album.

This time I went alone, simply to take pictures and wander around. I ran into 2nd Avenue Records, my new favorite shop, where I blew all my money on the Monkees' Instant Reply and the Beatles' Rubber Soul.

A couple weeks ago, Rhaya & I went downtown, bought books, drank Starbucks, ate Voodoo doughnuts, and failed to find any henna.
