This time I went alone, simply to take pictures and wander around. I ran into 2nd Avenue Records, my new favorite shop, where I blew all my money on the Monkees' Instant Reply and the Beatles' Rubber Soul.
Portland looks gorgeous, I'd love to go! This year I'll be heading over to the West Coast for the first time for school. Hopefully I'll be able to make a Portland visit.
These are nice! I especially like the ones of the tracks, the lady on the bench 4 down, and the bookstores.
One of my best friends who moved to Portland to go to Reed three years ago showed me pictures of Powell's and the "Keep Portland Weird" sign. It seems surreal that two people I know for different reasons who live so very far away have been to the same places. But kinda cool.
